Don't Miss Out!!

Can We Stay Friends?

Hello there friends!! It's time to say goodbye to 2016! The end of the year always makes me a little bit introspective, and the older that I get the more truly aware that I am becoming of the passage of time. I don't mean that in a melancholy way, but in a "grab the best that life has to offer" kind of way. I know that life is not meant to be lived with regrets, and lately I have been feeling a fair bit of regret about this poor neglected blog.

The Library Patch's blog has taken a bit of a backseat to life!! It wouldn't take but a second to see that the last post I made was about Summer Reading! Umm, yeah, that was six months ago ...

I want to say that I am sorry, really, I do ... but, I am not REALLY sorry.  A little sad maybe. A little disappointed maybe. A little wishful maybe. But, sorry ... Nope! I have filled my days and nights with some pretty awesome stuff over the last six months. And writing a blog post has NOT been one of them.

The best part of my blog has been connecting with all of you! And, I don't want that to ever stop. THAT would be make me sorry! I LOVE sharing the fun things that I have happening in the library, the random ideas that clutter my mind, and the new products that I have posted. I LOVE being able to answer your questions and support you in your library endeavors. I LOVE reading comments and emails that you share with me. So, I have been thinking ...

Can we stay friends? Will you still like me if I slow WAY down in writing blog posts but continue to share in other meaningful ways? It is my goal {New Year's Resolution} to be more visible on my social media sites! If you aren't already following me on one of these sites, then now is the time! Go ahead. Click on one of the buttons below and become a follower at Pinterest, Instagram or Facebook.
Or what about signing up for my newsletter {another New Year's Resolution}? Just subscribe in that box up above. You know the one at the top of the page! Yup, that's it! I am hoping to share bits of news, pictures, product updates, and even freebies with this monthly newsletter. I am excited about sharing in this new venue.

Did you see that I snuck the words, "New Year's Resolutions" into my post? Well, the truth is that I don't generally make resolutions. I tend to be a bit overambitious, and most certainly a perfectionist, so I am rarely able to keep my resolutions. {And, then those regrets creep in.} BUT, I miss sharing with all of you. So, it truly is my goal to connect with you more!

Oh wait! I actually do have a New Year's Resolution. Honestly, it's more of a new day's resolution. Each day, I wake up and simply want to be a kinder person than I was yesterday. I think that a little bit of kindness can go a long way in this crazy world. Don't you?
